What a lot of fun was had this morning with 16 of our cubs. After a crazy warm up we played bulldog and then broke into two groups for passing and dodging practice. The cubs were learning about teamwork, the importance of spatial awareness, and not crowding the person with the ball.

Everyone enjoyed the obstacle races (well done to the green team!) before we finished the session with a couple of practice games. We saw some good examples of hand-offs, chasing the ball down and... tackling, especially amongst the older group.

Well done to our trophy winners today. Harry W had a great first week with us - he joined in well and had loads of fun. Mackenzie was brilliant in the game practice (great try and some good tackles). Vincent also had a great week, with some excellent defensive play.
Special commendation too to James for a good try scored in the younger group's game. Good effort!

Thanks to our additional parent helpers today. The extra support is much appreciated, particularly as our numbers continue to grow. The kids really benefit from having the extra pairs of hands and eyes too
