Today the Eagles hosted the Broncos.

Broncos chose to Kick off and the Eagles started well and were unlucky not to score.

Broncos first set and the defence opened up welcoming them to the try line, couldn't of made it any easier even if we had sent them an invitation.

Second set and Jensen took the ball, charging up the field going all the way to post the first score for the Eagles.

Next few sets were end to end rugby with both teams holding out the other, Broncos struck next with the second try.

Back to normal on the next set with no score for either side. Eagles breached the Broncos just before half time with a well placed kick for Alex to gather and score.

Second half was all the Broncos, they stopped the Eagles at every opportunity an crossed for 4 tries of their own.

Last play of the half, Josh took the ball on the 10 mt line, split the defence and shot a bullet of a pass to Zac who charged over for his first try for the Eagles, think he is probably still smiling.

Positive start for the two new Eagles, Tyler making some cracking tackles and Alfie snaking runs caused the Broncos some trouble.

Eagles lose 14-34.
